This guy was cruising along at dusk, just around the boat ramp at Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge in Parkland, Florida. He saw my friend and I in the canoe and made a beeline for us! I wound up having to give him a little shove with my paddle. Someone had definitely fed him. Please do not feed the alligators! This original painting has a silver sheen to it, and was painted with acrylic on 12" x 12" canvas board with .33" depth.
